  • Project Goal: To contribute in effective response to the COVID-19 pandemic. 
  • Project Objectives: To meet the humanitarian needs of the vulnerable communities in affected by the second wave of COVID-19 through timely and proper access to health care, WASH, and sufficient food. 
  • Duration of Project: June 15, 2021 – August 31, 2021. 
  • Budget: NPR. 35,898,040.00.
  • Beneficiaries: Direct 2,400, Individual 25,301 (13,723 males/ 11,758 females) .
  • Project Location: Rupandehi & Kapilvastu District .
  • Major Project Achievements:
    • COVID 19 treatment capacity and hygiene and sanitation infrastructure of public healthcare facilities is increased. 
    • Vulnerable communities living in underserved COVID-19 hotspot areas have improved access to hygiene and sanitation to reduce community-level transmission. 
    • Vulnerable families affected by COVID-19 restrictions have access to sufficient food to support their daily food requirement for a period of 30 days.
