BATAS Foundation – the philanthropic arm of BATAS Organization – is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political organization devoted to creating a more equitable and self-sustaining Nepal.

Since its inception, the Foundation has been dedicated to uplifting underprivileged communities through transformative initiatives in education, health services, livelihood, WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene), and disaster resilience. Our mission is grounded in compassion, sustainability, and social responsibility.

Our Impact

Education Support: More than 200 students from economically challenged families across Nepal have received scholarships, helping them pursue their education and secure a better future.

Health Services: With its own teaching hospital and partner agencies, the Foundation organizes free medical camps in rural and remote villages—offering check-ups, awareness programs, and health-related training for self-care and survival. Each year, these initiatives provide essential medical services and preventive care to over 36,000 people, improving the quality of life for marginalized communities.

Livelihood & Skills: Through vocational and skill-based training, we empower individuals—especially women and youth—to become self-reliant and economically independent.

Partnerships for Progress: The Foundation actively collaborates with corporate partners, academic institutions, financial organizations, INGOs, and global funds to maximize its reach, ensure transparency, and sustain long-term community impact.
